Plant Design
The plant has been designed by a leading engineering design and
consultancy firm, with more than adequate emphasis on ease of operations,
functional flow and plant safety. The facility has been designed
to meet international standards and also to enable the company to
go in for a USFDA approval at a later date.
Several sections of the plant such as the utility systems, the
building and other civil works have been designed and built keeping
provision for future expansion of the capacity. Thus, capacity addition
can be carried out quickly by installation of the appropriate process
equipments.
The facilities have been well-appreciated by the representatives
of various pharmaceutical companies (Indian and MNCs), who have
visited and audited the plant.
The plants are housed in well designed three buildings - administrative
block, manufacturing block and utilities block. A lush green garden
in the front approx. 5000 sq.yds add to the aesthetics and landscaping.
The entire factory area is served by pucca pitch tar coated, leveled
and paved internal roads of approx. 1.8 kms length
Facilities at the Plant
The plant incorporates facilities that are the State-of-Art in
chemical synthesis, quality control and energy efficiency. The provision
of several different utility systems and equipments covering a large
number of unit operations make the plant truly multi-purpose. This
imparts the flexibility to alter the product mix in tune with the
changing market needs or the needs of the customers for customized
products.
The plant is equipped with various kinds of equipment to carry
out varied kinds of reactions - SS vessels, Glass Lined SS Reactors
(GLRs), SS Centrifuges, Rubber Lined Centrifuges, Condensers, Fluid
Bed Dryers, Ribbon Blender, Commuting Mill, Leaf Filters, Vibrator
Separators, Multi Mill etc.
The plant also have various utilities suitable for different processes
- Oil heating, steam heating, ammonia chilling, brine chilling,
compressed air, vacuum systems etc.

Plant Location / Infrastructural Advantages
ISHITA's manufacturing facility is located on main State Highway
17, barely 25 Kms from Ahmedabad city. Ahmedabad CFS, Ahmedabad
dry port (ICD Ahmedabad) and Ahmedabd Airport are also within 40
minutes drive from the factory. This is a major advantage of our
international business.
The plant is also well connected by roads to the Mumbai ports (JNPT
/ NSICT), which are around 500 kms. from the plant and are connected
by a 4 Lane National Highway.
